With the help of our talented park ranger Eduardo Rios, we mapped the whole Jocotoco Galapagos Reserve and found more than 140 potential nest sites of the Galapagos Petrel. In the following months we're going to start an intensive monitoring campaign which coincides with the nesting period of the Galapagos Petrel. We will also remove invasive species, such as raspberry and rats.

Furthermore, Pacific Rim Conservation and Island Conservation visited our reserve to make a feasibility study on the installment of a predatory-proof fence in the future. If we achieve this, it would be the first project of its kind in the Galapagos Islands.
