Tesoro Escondido Reserve became a Foundation, and Jocotoco adjusted its protected area network to 15 reserves

In this sense, the Jocotoco network of protected areas throughout Ecuador was adjusted to 15 reserves, exceeding more than 30,000 hectares conserved.

Likewise, we will continue working together with Tesoro Escondido in the conservation of the threatened ecosystem of the Chocó Forest, of which only two percent remains as primary forest.
